Dr. Tanika Chakraborty, who is a Development Economist and Assistant professor of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK). Her research interest varies on Development Economics, Labor Economics, Economics of Education, and Decision Making. She has recently interested in working with small enterprise and doing a research on South Asian small enterprise. To cover one of the south Asian countries like Bangladesh with research work, Professor Tanika Chakraborty recently visited Bangladesh and came into place at MOMODa FOUNDATION corporate office in Dhaka. During her visit here in Bangladesh, Dr. Chakraborty stopped-off for 5 days from July 25-30, 2017 and visited different enterprises in Dhaka along with adjacent city of Dhaka and talked with medium and small entrepreneurs about their prospects and obstructions while running their enterprise. She ended her visit with the meeting with MOMODa FOUNDATION’s Chairperson on July 29, 2017 and expressed her interest about future collaboration of implementing research program.
