Bangladesh faces rising salinity in coastal regions due to climate change. In collaboration with J-PAL K-CAI, MOMODa FOUNDATION is conducting an RCT in three salinity-prone Upazilas of Khulna—Dighalia, Terokhada, and Batiaghata—to enhance climate resilience. Following training sessions from 1st to 3rd September, pilot surveys were conducted between 5th and 10th September, with 25 completed surveys after data cleaning. Household listings included 319 households in 34 communities, contributing to a total of 1,863 households across 189 communities, with 131 eligible for interventions. To date, surveys have been completed in 200 of 239 communities, identifying 169 eligible for further study. This initiative underscores a commitment to strengthening resilience in Bangladesh’s most vulnerable communities.
