On 31 December 2023, MOMODa FOUNDATION convened its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting was attended by the Chairman, the Executive Director, six members of the Executive Committee, and the employees of the organization, who joined either in-person or virtually from the project offices.
The program started with floral greetings, recitation from the holy Quran and National Anthem. The Chairman delivered the welcome speech shortly after, in which he acknowledged the organization’s achievements and challenges in the past year. He also expressed his appreciation to the donors, partners, and stakeholders for their continued support and collaboration.
The Executive Director, the master of the ceremony, then presented the annual report, which comprised the financial statements presented by Liku Rani Saha (Manager, Accounts and Finance), the project updates presented by the project leaders, and the plans of the organization presented by the Executive Director. The Executive Committee unanimously endorsed the report.
The meeting also facilitated a vibrant discussion on the current issues and opportunities in the development sector, and the strategies to improve the impact and sustainability of the organization’s interventions. The participants exchanged their feedback, suggestions, and best practices from their respective fields of work.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the Chairman and the Vice Chairman, who conveyed their gratitude to the staff and the Executive Committee for their commitment and hard work. They also wished everyone a happy and prosperous new year.
