Hiroyuki Egami, is currently pursuing his PhD at National Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan. Underneath his PhD thesis, Mr. Hiro under the supervision of Professor Tomoya Matsumoto doing a research on Conditional Cash transfer (CCT) by Using Mobile Banking Technologies in Bangladesh.

Prior to his thoughts engagement with full intervention, Mr.Hiro visited MOMODa FOUNDATION and was looking for feasibility of that intervention in Bangladesh context. In that process, Mr. Hiro visited Gaibandha office and appeared himself on his debut meeting with FOUNDATION’s research team on July 9, 2017.

His visit here in Gaibandha was lasted from July 9-12, 2017. During his visit here in Gaibandha, Mr. Hiro met different locals and sought favorable environment of initiating the project. He also met some Mobile banking agents and customers to discuss different aspects of running and using of mobile banking technologies. On July 13, 2017 he flied to Dhaka and met FOUNDATION’s Chairperson at MOMODa Corporate office. He introduced himself with his proposed project in the formal discussion at office and looked favor of initiating the project. His visit was ended with the departure Bangladesh to Japan on July 17, 2017.
