Md. Bulbul Islam joined MOMODa Foundation as a Manager (Research) in 2021. He started his career at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), Bangladesh as a Data Management Assistant from 2011. Before joining MOMODa Foundation, He worked as a Data Verification & Validation Officer and Senior Supervisor at the BRAC University for 4 Years (from 2017 to 2021). Before that, He works as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) for 9 months (from March 2017 to November 2017). In his career, he was involved with survey designing and coding, data collection planning, field staff training, coordinating the survey team, survey data cleaning, primary analysis, and report writing.

He has experience in managing large datasets and providing technical support for data management of different disciplines of development research namely Ready-Made Garments, Education, Health, and Economic growth. He has expertise in using advanced software such as KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO, Stata, SPSS, and Tableau. He also received training from Google on Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.

He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Academy of Business Professionals (ABP), Dhaka, Master of Business Administration (Major in HRM) from ASA University, Bangladesh; Master of Education (Major in Education Research) & Bachelors in Education Honors (Major in Education Research) obtained from National University, Bangladesh.

He has vast experience and expertise to ensure the highest quality data collection, data management, data analysis with the highest possible integrity and transparency.
