Mr. Jahangir, Assistant Manager (Research), has more than 4 years of experience in working with several research and development projects including IDE-JETRO, PEDE, LEC, IGC, GRIPS, JPAL under MOMODa Foundation. After Obtaining his Master degree from the Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur in Economics, he has been working as a monitoring and research officer at several projects on the environment, micro-credit, education, financial inclusion, wash, female labor force participation in Bangladesh, Enclaves, tobacco consumption prevention, training program in RMG sector, incentivizing school attendance in Bangladesh, and advocacy etc. He has been trained on how to design and implement field experiments and project monitoring and evaluation, and understand what it takes to adequately monitor the project activities that lead to achieving the overall objectives. During the time, He managed a team independently while maintaining liaison with the NGOs and other actors. Mr. Alam has directed the preparation of survey and research instruments, trained and mobilized enumerators and implementations teams to build their capacity, prepared monitoring protocols for line supervisors, prepared CSPro, SurveyCTO interfaces, and cleaned data using STATA, with others responsibilities. He has also completed a training program on a diploma in project management, research design, data management, and analysis from the online platform Alison & edx. He has coordinated with all implementing partners and stakeholders, from public and private, to implement the project according to the timeline and ensure the best result with a coordinating effort. Besides, preparing project reports and working with the fund-raising team were among my responsibilities. Also, he is working as the Editor of the newsletter of the MOMODa Foundation.
