Mr. Jasim Uddin has been working as a development consultant for more than five years countrywide in variety of government and non-government projects and programs. He did his post-graduate from Faculty of Sciences, University of Dhaka in 1971. Later on, he did a number of academic and professional degrees like, Banking Diploma (DAIBB) from The Institute of Bankers in Bangladesh (IBB), Post Graduate Diploma in personal Management (PGDPM), Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM), and Commonwealth Executive MBA in Business Admin (CEMBA) and so on from various renowned national and international institutions.
Having a total of 38 years professional experience and expertise in Banking services over the period of time, Mr. Uddin have worked in multidiscipline positions with experience in Branch Management, General Management, Finance & Accounts, International trade, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Centralized Foreign remittance cell, Audit and Inspection a lateral approach to problem solving in Banking sector.
Over the period of time, Mr. Uddin served in the Largest Private Bank i.e Pubali Bank Ltd. in different positions from Development Officer to Deputy General Manager. He also served in another Private sector Best Bank in the Country namely Prime Bank Ltd. from July 2002 to July 2010 in the position of Senior Vice President to Senior Executive Vice President respectively.
As a resource person, Mr. Uddin has successfully conducted various sessions at Prime Bank Training Institute, Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) & Pubali Banks Training Institute on General Banking, Credit and International trade. With having his long professional experience, Mr. Uddin has an absolute expertise in developing employees self motivation, ensuring better customer services and behavioral approach.
During the tenure in Head office of Prime Bank Ltd, he was also Member Secretary of many committees especially in Management Coordination Committee (MANCOM) and done the assigned duty with satisfaction of all.
With a vision of creating a fair and prosperous society, Mr. Uddin has been working at MOMODa Foundation as founder chairperson.
