Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) in collaboration with IDRC, Canada intends to see how court efficiency affects business performance. It is known that efficient institutions of contract enforcement are critical for proliferation of business. More specifically, the research team aims to empirically estimate the relationship between the efficiency of formal institutions and various indicators of business performance.
