Project Objectives:
The purpose of the study was to rigorously evaluate the effectiveness of virtual job fairs and job preference signaling.
Sample Size:
110 employers and 2560 job seekers participated in the ICT virtual job fair organized jointly by Bdjobs.com, FIU, and ADB.
Data Collection:
110 employers and 2560 jobseekers (1280 treatment and 1280 control) participated in the study. 1st end-line survey has been conducted from December 2021 to January 2022 and 2nd end-line survey has been conducted from July to August 2022.
Project Outcome:
This study will help improve future virtual job fairs and job search platforms.

Project Background:
The project is working to improve the living standards of rural poor agricultural households who are at risk of local survival due to seasonal hunger. To understand how their lives are changing, household data were collected twice a month in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th phases of the HFDC project. Through more frequent data collection, this study seeks to understand more about how the changes in their income affect their consumption patterns. During the next 10 years, 14 million girls in different parts of the world are expected to experience child marriage – i.e. marriage before the age of 18 – each year. In developing countries, one in three women presently aged 20-24 were married or in a union before age 18 (UNFPA 2012).

Methods: The report has been prepared with data collected by both qualitative and quantitative surveys. A total of 655 households were surveyed in February 2020 to collect quantitative data and several KKIs were conducted through phone calls due to the COVID-19 pandemic. MOMODa FOUNDATION was given a rough and tough data set by the World Vision Bangladesh (WVB). MOMODa research team has cleaned, prepared, and organized the data set.
